HIS Redeeming HOPE for 2026!

For me, the new year brings a fresh start as I strive to “forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead; I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:13,14

While I want to learn and grow through the difficult seasons I faced last year, I strongly desire to surrender, accept and let go of things I cannot control. I don’t want to give the enemy a foothold in my heart and mind with his lies, taunts and accusations.

I am clinging and holding on to the faithfulness, mercy, grace and goodness of my Father, and am pressing on to know and trust Him even more!

Are you struggling to move past the failures, disappointments and defeats of 2025?

Does it seem almost impossible for you to “forget what is behind” and be filled with renewed hope for the year ahead?

I want you to know I understand how you feel. 

I stepped into 2026 feeling weary after watching my mother-in-law battle and suffer through a terminal disease over the past year, while my husband and I battled in fervent prayer for the Lord to take her peacefully home…and thank the LORD, He set her free on December 14. Even though it was sad to say our “temporary goodbyes,” we are relieved that she is suffering no more and is now reunited with my husband’s dad and sister for eternity.

To be transparent with you, I also felt somewhat “hopeless” at times about some personal family situations we have been walking through. Some matters very close to my heart that I’ve been praying about for many years…and I am still waiting.

That’s the scheme of our enemy, Satan, who tries to wear us down and out with his taunting lies such as, “They will never change.”  “It’s always going to be like this.” or  “You don’t have what it takes.”  “You will never be enough.” And “See, God is silent, He doesn’t care.” “God will never answer this prayer.”

Remember, Satan’s ultimate goal is to make you doubt God’s Word, His Character and the TRUTH that HE LOVES YOU AND WILL NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE YOU! He wants nothing more than to defeat you and make you feel ineffective for God’s Kingdom Purpose.

The enemy of your soul is relentless in his schemes to try to make you feel “hopeless.”

What have you been praying and hoping for but haven’t seen God’s answer to all your prayers…yet?

Has your enemy caused you to doubt, feel discouraged and hopeless more than you are hopeful?

I can testify to you that our GOD IS FAITHFUL TO ALL THE PROMISES OF HIS WORD!!

Each new year I commit to pray and ask the LORD for HIS ONE WORD and SCRIPTURE for me to intentionally focus on in my prayers.

As I listened, He spoke the word HOPE in my spirit and gave me HIS PROMISE of Zechariah 9:12: “Return to your Stronghold, you prisoner of hope, and I will restore double to you!”

I began praying and believing HIS WORD…and He filled my heart with renewed hope and strength to TRUST HIM WITH AN “EVEN THOUGH, “EVEN WHEN” AND “EVEN IF” UNSHAKEABLE FAITH!!

As I prayed God’s Word and declared, “I am Your Prisoner of Hope!” I believed that God would restore double and…

I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to share with you that one of my deep concerns and prayers has just been answered!!!

I would like to tell you more about this in time; but for now, the passionate purpose of my heart in sharing this praise report is to encourage and strengthen YOUR faith.

Praying God’s Word is a “Prayer of Dynamite” that demolishes the strongholds and lies of the evil one!

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

 2 Corinthians 10:4
