FREEDOM STORIES

“In my anguish I cried to the Lord, and He answered by setting me free.” Psalm 118:5

I’ve had the honor of gathering with these brave women from our Freedom group to celebrate the completion of the FREEDOM Biblical Course. It has been such a gift and blessing to lead and mentor these beautiful ladies who call me their “Church Mama!”

This is what they shared about their Freedom Journey:

“It was like pulling the rug off things I had buried for so long. I feel so much lighter and FREE!”

“I became more aware and able to identify my pain that causes me to believe lies from the enemy. I am learning to process my hurt and replace lies with truth from God’s Word!” 

“I realize I need community with other women to lean on and pray for me on my healing journey!”

Rejoicing and thanking the Lord for VICTORY and the FREEDOM they are experiencing in Christ!

I am so passionate about this FREEDOM JOURNEY because I am living proof of God’s redeeming love and power! For many years I battled with the bondage and strongholds of unhealthy family cycles that were passed down through generations:

Addictions, divorce, abandonment, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as being raped at the age of 14 by an adult cousin.

My mother was mentally ill, an addict and married and divorced 5 times; as a result, I suffered sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse at the hands of stepparents. I didn’t find out until much later that my mother had been sexually abused by her stepfather growing up. Understanding this helped me to have compassion for her and be able to forgive her.

I have learned and continue to learn how to engage in spiritual warfare to overcome the lies and strongholds of the evil one who tried to hold me captive in bondage and unbelief for years.

As I intentionally replace the lies of the enemy with GOD’S WORD, HIS TRUTH SETS ME FREE! (John 8:32) God has and continues to bring much healing, victory and redemption in my life as I choose to abide in Christ and trust in Him with all my heart.

Generational sins and unhealthy family cycles can cause deep wounds in our souls, usually resulting in damaging consequences and battling with strongholds that are extremely hard to overcome.

The LORD is FIGHTING FOR AND WITH YOU as you choose to engage in spiritual warfare and experience the TRUTH of HIS WORD:

We fight the enemy and the bondage of strongholds with the divine weapons of the Armor of God while praying the powerful Word of God:

The belt of Truth, breastplate of Righteousness, gospel shoes of Peace, shield of Faith, helmet of Salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.  And PRAY in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Ephesians 6:10-18

God is faithful to bring TRIUMPANT VICTORY over the enemy in our lives as we

“Overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.”  Revelation 12:4 

Strongholds and chains can be broken through the power of Jesus’ sacrifice to overcome spiritual bondage and negative influences.

GOD ALMIGHTY can and will turn ALL that the enemy meant for harm and evil in your life into good for HIS GREATER PURPOSE AND GLORY!

You can choose to forgive yourself and others.

You can choose to experience His healing, deliverance, restoration and freedom.

You can choose to take spiritual authority over the evil one.

You can choose to battle against his lies, taunts, accusations and strongholds with your divine spiritual warfare weapons of THE WORD OF GOD AND PRAYER!!

You can choose to help heal and set others free in Christ as “HEALED people HEAL people and FREE people FREE people!”

Father, I pray and agree together according to YOUR WILL for your beloved daughters…to heal, deliver, redeem, restore and set them FREE in the Mighty Name of JESUS! Fulfill Your Kingdom Purpose for them to use their Stories of HOPE to help heal and set others free through the Redeeming Love and Power of the gospel message!
