In Loving Honor & Memory of Charlene Hubbard

I am beyond blessed to be in a mentoring relationship with Jennifer. I feel like a proud Spiritual Mama!

I have witnessed her triumphant victories of overcoming the pain of her past and flourishing in her faith. Jennifer is a beautiful display of HIS Splendor. God is fulfilling HIS Redeeming Purpose for her life and is rewriting her story as she openly shares her healing journey to bring the hope and light of Christ to many women!

I can't express how grateful and overjoyed I am to lead this Workshop with Jennifer. Because of all the Lord has done in our lives through the years, we have a passionate desire to share our stories to encourage, equip and empower women to flourish in their faith and bear much fruit for the glory of God.

We both knew in our hearts that we wanted to do this Workshop in loving honor and memory of Charlene Hubbard…a mighty woman of God who deeply impacted both of our lives and has had a lasting legacy of faith and love…truly an amazing display of HIS Splendor!

I first met Jennifer about 30 years ago through her beloved Aunt Charlene Hubbard. I had the amazing privilege and honor to serve with Charlene at The Brandon Crisis Pregnancy Center (now Choices Women’s Clinic) for nearly 25 years.

Jennifer says, “My Aunt Charlene had the most significant spiritual impact on my life as a child and teenager. I am the woman of God, wife and mother I am today because of her. I don’t know how I would have made it without her loving guidance and prayer support.”

I was mentored by Charlene and am the follower and servant of Christ I am today because of her investment in my life through ministry. I admired her strong faith and desired to be more like her as she faithfully ministered the compassionate love, mercy and grace of Christ. God used her story of suffering the heartbreak of a past abortion and His Redeeming Purpose to help many women choose life, make an adoption plan and commit their hearts to Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Charlene made an eternal difference in hundreds of lives over the years we served together. She loved so well and made everyone feel seen and valued. She gave the best hugs and always guided each of us to the truth of God’s Word. We miss her…we miss her sweet smile, caring heart and most of all, her powerful prayers!

Charlene went home to be with her Lord on February 14, 2018, after battling lung cancer at the age of 69. While we all mourned and grieved her deeply, we also rejoiced knowing that she was healed and set free for eternity…and that we would see her again. She was promoted to heaven and heard her Father say, “Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into your rest.” Matthew 25:21

Charlene’s life and legacy lives on as a beautiful display of HIS Splendor!!
