Faith Is Rising!

I hope you and your family had a blessed Easter celebrating our Risen Savior, Lord and soon coming King! HOPE is ALIVE!!

I’ve been pondering, meditating and seeking the Father’s Heart to believe HIM for RESURRECTION FAITH…

Even when something looks and feels impossible.

Even when hope is deferred and the heart is sick.

Even when fear, anxiety and depression paralyze.

Even when death seems to have the final word.

In John chapter 11 when Martha and Mary’s brother, Lazarus died, Jesus purposefully delayed His arrival to raise Lazarus after being dead for 4 days to demonstrate His authority over death and to prepare His disciples for His own upcoming resurrection. This miracle was a "sneak preview" of Christ's resurrection, showing that death is not final, and it was a catalyst for His crucifixion, occurring just before his final week in Jerusalem.

Martha and Mary doubted Him because He didn’t show up in time.  Through their overwhelming sorrow and grief, they exclaimed, “Lord, if You had been here, our brother would not have died.”  

Are you struggling and wavering in your faith because God didn’t show up for you when you expected?

Like me, how many times have you prayed, “Lord, if only You had been here… ________________________________________________.”  (fill in the blank!)

Even when her brother was dead for 4 days, Martha’s rising faith declared, “But I know that even now God will give You whatever You ask!” John 11:22

My heart is so touched and comforted that even though Jesus knew Lazarus was going to be resurrected, when He saw those He loved weeping, Jesus was deeply moved and troubled in His Spirit, and with unfailing love, compassion and care, HE WEPT.

And Jesus weeps for YOU!

He is the Only One Who truly sees you and understands you.

He cares for you in your deep loss and sorrow.

He cares for you when you feel helpless and hopeless.

He cares for you as you face defeat with one battle after another.

He holds and comforts you when you are suffering and lovingly invites you to surrender your pain to Him.

As you surrender your pain, He promises to redeem it for HIS PURPOSE!

Jesus also declares this promise to you, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God!”

If YOU believe in Jesus as the Resurrection and Life, YOU will witness God's power over death, despair, and impossible situations. 

As your faith rises…

You will overcome doubt and fear.

You will choose to hold tight to the promises of God’s Word.

You will trust God when situations seem entirely hopeless.

You will experience supernatural COMFORT, PEACE and HOPE for VICTORY.

And You will behold the GLORY OF GOD!

Be intentional about your ongoing process of maturing spiritually and emotionally as you choose to sit at the feet of Jesus each day, listening to His Word and pouring your heart out to Him.

You will move to a deeper, more profound trust in God. You will have a greater confidence in God's power and wisdom, and you will remain steadfast during hardships as you feel God's presence working in and through your life…for HIS Redeeming Purpose.

Is your faith rising? What are you believing God for?

I invite you to pray this rising faith prayer as a heartfelt plea to strengthen your belief, trust, and reliance on God during times of uncertainty and weakness to deepen your spiritual journey and find strength in Christ:

 "Father, I ask You today to increase my faith, to strengthen my belief in Your unfailing love and promises. Please remove doubt and fear from my heart and grant me the courage to trust You completely.  Lord, I believe You and I will see Your Victory and Glory! In Jesus Mighty Name I pray, AMEN!”
