“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted…” Isaiah 61:1

Karen in prayer

What is breaking your heart today?

Do you feel hopeless instead of hopeful?

Are you burdened, tired and weary?

What is troubling you and keeping you up at night?

My heart is burdened and breaking for YOU. I truly care and have deep compassion for women who are hurting…battling to overcome pain and the lies of the enemy who is relentless in his schemes, lies, taunts and accusations.

Jesus said in John 10:10, “The enemy comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

God has called me; He sends me to share the hope of the gospel and to bind up the broken hearts of those who are desperate for His healing, restoration and freedom.

Because my heart has been healed, transformed and restored by the redeeming love and power of Christ, I am here to tell YOU that “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!” (Luke 1:37)

So what does it mean to bind up the brokenhearted?

In the original language of the Bible, it means to bandage, dress, encourage or inspire with confidence. To bind up the broken hearted is to give purpose to those who are overwhelmed with sadness; to comfort them and to relieve their burdens.

God lovingly sent His Son, Jesus, to suffer unimaginable pain and die on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven and that we may be healed spiritually, emotionally and physically for eternity.

Because He was victorious and rose from the grave, His resurrection power not only heals our broken hearts here on this earth, but promises us eternal life in heaven where “He will wipe away every tear from our eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Behold, I am making everything NEW!  Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.  (Revelation 21:4, 5)

How Does God Redeem Your Pain?

Pain can cause you to become more intimate with God and experience His Presence in a very deep and personal way.

Your greatest ministry can come out of your deepest pain, disappointment or battle.

It is in your humble brokenness that you can be poured out to help others.

God is asking YOU to surrender YOUR PAIN FOR HIS PURPOSE!

Instead of asking yourself:

“Why is this happening to me?” start asking God two other questions:

“What do you want me to learn?”

“Whom do you want me to help?”

Instead of focusing on what you’ve lost, or never had, redirect your focus to helping others.

Jesus came to provide YOU comfort, hope and a new perspective. He is capable of doing anything, no matter how hard it may look or feel. He promises to heal your pain and rewrite your story…all for HIS GLORY!!

Have you accepted JESUS into your heart and surrendered your pain to Him so that you may experience His Presence for hope and healing?

Have you been away from the Lord and feel His Love stirring your heart to come back home and recommit your life to follow Him?

Do you believe He is able to heal, restore and redeem your pain for HIS Purpose?

Lord, I pray and speak Psalm 147:3 over Your beloved daughter, “Heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds.” You are her Loving Shepherd and with Your compassionate care, You will lead her beside quiet waters as You refresh and  restore her soul. (Psalm 23:2) Reveal Your plan and purpose to redeem her pain and rewrite her story for Your Kingdom and Glory. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray and believe, Amen!

How Can I Pray and Believe With YOU?
