Karen Brooks
Karen Brooks is a wife, mother, grandmother, mentor, speaker, and author with a heart to help women heal, grow, and become firmly rooted in Christ. Married to her husband, Paul, for forty-eight years, Karen lives in Apollo Beach, Florida, where she faithfully serves in her church and community. She has led women’s ministry, served in pregnancy care ministry, supported survivors of trafficking, and founded HER LightHouse, a housing ministry for pregnant survivors and their babies. Through her own journey of childhood trauma, insecurity, loss, healing, and restoration, Karen writes with courage and compassion to help women overcome the pain of their past and embrace God’s redeeming purpose. Her mission is to inspire women to flourish in faith and become beautiful displays of His splendor.
